Hi!!!! I just read Emery and Chris story and I loved them and I have a really silly question… how does West and Dodger get along? It’s because I love dogs and I got curious. Sorry for the silly ask. :)

How can you NOT love this man and his dog?!  They were meant for each other…

I had this conversation with a friend recently, Nonny.  Dodger isn’t part of Emery’s world!  I know, crazy, right?  But when I wrote the stories, kind of in ‘real time’ through the winter of 2016, the fans had no idea Dodger existed until his debut on the Ellen show in May 2016.  By that time the story was in too deep for me to figure out how to bring him into Emery’s world.  Based on other real life pieces, small edits were made to the Emery stories, but I never figured out how to add Dodger in…  So right now, it’s West, and their cat.  (A kitten was featured in a drabble, and I’m having trouble finding it, although reference to the cat is made in “Wicked.”)

Thanks for the “silly” ask!  I LOVE questions like these.  They get me to thinking about Emery, and what those two are up to…  I’m working on a new piece, but it’s moving slowly in my mind, not quite fitting together yet…

I wanna thank everyone who texted me and sent me LINE messages this morning when Chris tweeted the reunion with Dodger. I was at a family event and the minute my phone BLEW UP, I knew the reason why… didn’t hurt that I’d asked nicely!

Bwahahaha! Seriously. Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I watched it without sound until I had peace and quiet and it was absolute perfection!
